Personal Messages

Mail the crew get while they fly. One heading per message.

**This file is meant to be added to.** You do not need to read any code to write one - copy a message below, change the words. The rules are short:

  • `From:` is who it is from, and a message without one is ignored. Write it the way it

would show on a phone: `Your sister, Mira`, not `mira_01`.

  • `To:` is a console - `helm`, `weapons`, `engineering`, `science`, `comms`, `hangar` -

or a comma list, or `*` for the whole crew. Leave it out and everyone gets it.

  • A line like `- [Say this](anything) ; signal something_happened` is a REPLY the crew

can send back. Up to four per message; leave them out for a message that is just telling them something. The `; signal name` part is optional and lets the mission react - ask whoever wired the mission what to put there, or leave it off.

  • `After:` is how many seconds into the mission it arrives. Leave it out and it is

waiting when they sit down. Spread them out; mail that all lands at once is a document, not a message.

  • The heading is the subject line. The paragraph under the fence is the message.
  • Keep it under about 600 characters and keep it ASCII - the engine draws no curly

quotes, no em-dashes and no emoji, and a `^` is a line break to it.

Do NOT add a `Kind:` field. It means something else in AMD and will quietly break the records under it.
